This looks fine to me. If the /dev/ttyUSB0 device node appears, the
driver is loaded and working.

I suspect you may have a "Pro Plus 2.1" instead of a "Pro Plus 2". If
that's correct, then you need to use the newer atom2 backend instead of
the vtpro backend.
