Error during autoreconf with automake > 1.12

This has already been fixed on the stable 0.1 branch. I'll merge all the 
bugfixes into the master branch once I have finished some things I'm currently 
busy with. For the time being, you can simply backport the fix yourself. This 
should do the trick:
