Hi,
I'm new to this group and greatly appreciative of your work. I was able to use dctool to download my dive computer data. Is the dctool source code available? I'd like to see the code as an example on how to use the libdivecomputer code.

The whole source is available at http://libdivecomputer.org/download.html as a git repo which you can check out.
The dctool-code specifically is located under the examples-directory in the source code directory.
