Hi all,
Just downloaded dctool.exe from http://www.libdivecomputer.org/builds/stable/windows/
when doing a $ dctool --help
on the command line i get a hanging program for a while and then the message access denied on the command line.
Anyone knows why this is happening? also saw that on win 7 pro 64 bit. no dive computer is connected at the moment. admin privileges are available as well if needed.
Greetings, Simon

Could this be some Windows feature that prevents you from running executables downloaded from the internet? I remember something like that, but I don't know the exact details anymore.

I have allowed access after downloading it so that should be not the problem. just redownloaded the newly built exe file. the same issue is happening. i will research further. If i know something i will report back.

Hi Jef,
Now the dctool works under windows. Just had to reboot the machine. seems a antivirus process maybe windows defender has blocked the file until the reboot.
